Pros + tranquility, you are literally in the middle of nowhere, in the jungle. I liked that. + I stayed at villa Haur, which happens to be the best room they have. It was spacious enough with great view. + friendly staffs. Cons - Though I liked the fact that villa Haur was spacious and has a great view, I found its facilities/amenities were minimal. All of the accomodation was rented out and we were very friendly asked to sleep in another cottage as what we had confirmed was not available anymore. A bit of a disappointmnt as this happened before. We agreed to stay and really enjoyed the place but really a strong suggestion to the management make sure you keep all in good condition!! Our tv did not work properly, the waterways were very dirty with trash, the swimmingpools needed cleaning etc!! Our office spent 2 days and 1 night for outbound with big range of age gap. We are a group of more than 50 people with age range from 22 to a merely 60 and yet, we all enjoyed our holiday here! Hulu cai also offers outbound for kiddos... so everyone can enjoy their time here. On the negative side, we're very much dependent on transportation from hulu cai gate to our room. From toll gate Ciawi is about 15 minutes. Actually we started our holiday with bad experience where there was no receptionist staff available when we arrive and we must wait until 10 minutes. They also asked our booking voucher while I only keep it in my email. And they had to cross check for another couple minutes. We came in the evening but our room was not ready yet and it spend another 15 minutes to wait. We stayed at Cottage Haur which has 2 rooms and bed for 5 people, 2 bath rooms and a balcony behind the cottage. The cottage is good, clean and spacious. Breakfast was served at the hill around 5 minutes by car from the front office. The car provided by the camp and they have 2 cars. They call it wara wiri car. The breakfast place really nice and have a great view of Mt. Salak and Mt. Pangrango. The air also very fresh with sun shines brightly. The food also delicious enough although there was not many choices. After breakfast we tried the outbond activity facilities. Some of the activities are included in the room's tariff, like cargo net, wall climbing, rapelling, flying fox and mini rafting. Make sure about it when you book the room. Their ATV track is good and challenging enough. You must pay Rp. for one round. The swimming pool is small but the water not clean. We closed our activity by visiting their farm. Their wara wiri car bring us around the farmer for free. We bought some fresh vegetables and chilly for very cheap price. Before check out we took lunch by bakwan and bakso meatball and young coconut drink. It was really delicious. They provide many interesting games, such as small rafting, rock climbing, flying fox, ATV, etc. They also have plantation upside the hill; chilli, scallion, papaya, and many more. The rooms provided are clean, and beautiful. But, if you intend to look a place for company outing place for more than 600 pax, i doubt they can handle. So far they only can handle up to 600 pax.
